Natural Growth
This art piece reflects the diversity of my identity, which I have struggled with. The art piece shows that even though I show different "faces" and "emotions", that does not change the person I reflect and where I come from.
Shades of Beauty
My art piece represents the beauty of vitiligo. Beauty should be represented in various forms, and I want my mom to see her vitiligo as enchanting.
De Fleur
In the diversity of unique experiences, I found myself inspired by flowers and flower studies, so I have always tried to do them myself.
A Seat at the Table: Don’t Touch My Hair
"My curls defined me; even my personality was curly bouncy, springy, and playfully twisted." - Elise Allen
My Room
A bedroom is so personal. It is a collection of your unique experiences and niche hobbies.
Times Flies

A Group Selfie
The Hand of My Being
When I think of diversity, I paint a picture of culture in my head. My diversity includes henna, and I use it to symbolize my background of being an Egyptian and showing the beauty of my culture.
A Need for Speed
It helps to move at your own pace when life gets intense. For me, that means winding down by... strapping wheels to my feet and going in circles for hours.
My Huynh
Finding something cute can be a universal experience. For me, stickers embody that little feeling of adoration while being accessible to anyone.
First Generation
My piece is an interpretation of the struggles that I experienced as a first-generation Latina student. Throughout high school, thinking about college and the whole application process was incredibly overwhelming, especially since I did not know what I was doing. This is a very distinct experience that unfortunately only a handful experience, but I was able to work through the mental hardships, financial aid, and college application process, and will be attending college in the fall.
Me and My Buddies
This drawing represents the diversity within my friend group; not just race or ethnicity, but within our personalities.
